Aleksandra Kostič


Aleksandra Kostič (1966) holds a university degree in art history. She works in contemporary art and culture and is the president of KID KIBLA, manager and artistic director of Kibla’s exhibition platform KiBela – artKIT – KIBLA PORTAL. She is the co-editor and lyricist of the TOX collection (1995–) and Folia (2009–2015), selector and curator of MFRU (1995–1997), co-founder of MMC KIBLA (1996), and KiBela (1999), head of KIBLA technological renovation through the Network of Multimedia Centers (2004), as an open archive (2004), co-author of the EPK concept (2006–2008), established KIBLA PORTAL (2012–) and artKIT (2014–), selector, curator and producer of numerous exhibitions (since 1992–). She founded and led the integrated concepts of multi-annual international projects Hallerstein (2008–2009), Mehki nadzor / Soft Control (2012–2015), Tvegaj spremembo / Risk Change (2016–2020). She designed the Network of Research Arts and Culture Centers (2015–2019), is the head of RUK / KIBLA (2019–2022), and established KIBLA2LAB (2020).
